Working with Text |
Sometimes, when you’re typing a bulleted list, one of your list items is so detailed it requires two (or more) paragraphs to do it justice. If you press Enter after typing the first paragraph, you’ll automatically get a bullet (of course), but this isn’t what you want. You want to continue the first bullet list item in a new paragraph, not create a new item. So how do you start a new paragraph without creating a new list item?
Press Shift+Enter, rather than just Enter, to start a new paragraph without creating a new list item. Type your text. If you need to create additional paragraphs, press Shift+Enter again. When you’re ready to create the next bulleted item, just press Enter.
