Controlling the Appearance and Formatting of Audience Handouts

The best way to control the appearance and formatting of your handouts is to print them from Word, rather than from PowerPoint. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Select Send To from the File menu, then Microsoft Word from the submenu.

  2. In the Write Up dialog box that appears, select the layout that fits your requirements.

  3. Click OK.

When the process is finished, youll have a Word document that you can modify so you can get handouts formatted exactly the way you want them. When youre ready, just print them from Word.
