Your toolbars normally attach themselves to
the top of your program window. If you'd rather that they attach
themselves to some other part of your program window—to the bottom, say, or the left or right
side—it's easy to make it
happen. You can even detach your toolbars and let them
To move or resize a toolbar by using your keyboard, just follow these
Press ALT to select the menu bar.
Press CTRL+TAB repeatedly to select the toolbar you want.
In the toolbar, press CTRL+SPACE to display the Toolbar Options menu.
Do one of the following:
Move a Toolbar
Select the Move command, and then press ENTER.
Use the arrow keys to
position the toolbar. Press CTRL+ the arrow keys to move one pixel at a time.
To undock the toolbar, press DOWN ARROW repeatedly. To dock the toolbar
vertically on the left or right side, press LEFT ARROW or RIGHT ARROW
respectively when the toolbar is all the way to the left or right side.
Resize a Toolbar
Select the Size command (it's only available when a toolbar is undocked), and then press
Use the arrow keys to resize the toolbar.
When you're finished moving or resizing, press ESC.
