Working with Office
An Office 2000 feature likely to catch your attention is “Standard and Formatting toolbars share one row.” Office 2000 applications seem to make fewer toolbar buttons available: Looking at the screen, you see only one row of buttons, rather than two. What’s happening is that an abbreviated Standard and Formatting toolbar are sharing that row.
If you prefer to see the full Standard and Formatting toolbars at the top of the screen, follow these steps to make them appear:
Select Customize… from the Tools menu.
When the Customize dialog box appears, select the Options tab.
Deselect the Standard and Formatting toolbars share one row check box.
