Working with Office
Most applications’ File menus keep a list of the last few documents you've worked on. You can use this list to reopen documents, saving yourself the time and trouble of finding your way to them through the Open dialog box. Well and good. Now Office 2000 goes one step further. You can click the History icon in your application’s Open dialog box to display a list of shortcuts to Office documents and folders you’ve visited recently. This list is similar to those used by Web browsers, and is more extensive than the one that appears at the bottom of the File menu.
