Entering and Editing Text
Small caps are an attractive but little-used alternative to uppercase. Word provides a handy shortcut for entering text in small caps:
Press Ctrl+Shift+K to turn small caps on.
Type your text.
When you’re finished, press Ctrl+Shift+K to turn small caps off.
You can use the same shortcut to convert text that you’ve already typed (so long as you didn't enter your text using Caps Lock or by holding down Shift). Just select the text and press Ctrl+Shift+K. Press it again if you want to convert it back.
